Village Church of Barrington Joins 5Stone Churches

Citing FiveStone Churches’ commitment to building local churches, Village Church of Barrington has joined FiveStone as a supporting member.

Village Church of Barrington wants to fulfill the Great Commission by planting churches at home and abroad, said VCB’s senior pastor, David Jones. So we’re delighted to partner with FiveStone’s gospel-centered work, including its work in Peru. We trust this will bear much fruit for Christ's kingdom.

Besides church planting, FiveStone’s work in building the local church involves one-day events to sharpen shepherds, weekend shepherding retreats and extensive church assessments. A complete description of FiveStone’s work is available here.

FiveStone planted Words of Life in Pucallpa, Peru, in 2023. Planting pastor Enzo Pinedo was serving as an elder at Oasis of Life when he and his wife, Amelia, partnered with FiveStone to plant Words of Life. Oasis of Life also is a member of the FiveStone network.
